PRESCHOOL BOWS | walking – 4 years | With parent/guardian

Bows is a fun filled structured session which requires the assistance of a parent/guardian. We will use themed structured gymnastics circuits in the class, which will vary each week, parents are encouraged to support the children around the course under the coaches guidance. Our bows gymnasts will have an opportunity to have free play at the end of the session to encourage independence. These sessions help the children gain confidence and understand the fundamental building blocks of movement – Action, Balance and Coordination. These classes are specifically designed to develop all the motor skills through various gymnastic activities. During these classes children are introduced to elements of structure to help prepare them for our Arrows independent classes.

Younger sibling policy: We recommend no participating siblings are to attend a bows class. Any siblings who have to attend must be under 12 months, stay in a car seat or be placed in a play pen provided by us at all times. Baby carriers/slings and pushchairs are not permitted due to health and safety reasons. If you have to see to your younger child at any time you must take your participating child with you as you are responsible for them at all times.

PRESCHOOL ARROWS | 3 – 4 years | Independent

Arrows is a fully structured session for young children who are ready to work independently. Our coaches will escort the children around the themed stations enabling them to further their basic physical movements into more advanced gymnastics elements and sequences as well as progressing their skills further on the apparatus. Games are introduced in our Arrows class to help develop children on a social, emotional and physical level. These classes are designed to provide a smooth transition into our General gymnastics classes as soon as the children reach school age.
